Families and individuals in need are referred to us by one of the more than 75 social service organizations that we partner with. The referring agency verifies the exact needs of the person in need, and ensures they have a case management system to rely upon as they work towards self-sufficiency. We serve individuals and families who are moving from homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, resettling refugees, recovering from a crisis such as a fire or flood, or people whose income does not meet their basic needs. Our furniture is donated by individuals in the community and is then redistributed to our clients. Our philosophy of reuse, recycle, and refurbish benefits the entire community by providing furnishings to those in need and keeping these items out of the landfill.

Basic home furnishings and appliances donated to The Barnabas Network go directly to individuals and families moving out of crisis and towards self-sufficiency. Contact us to schedule a pick up time for your tax deductible donation. What items do we accept as donations?

Neil Dunnavant, Executive Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, talks about his experience working with The Barnabas Network to help a family new to Greensboro.
