We’re checking in with an update on Barnabas’s operations as we all navigate the coming weeks of uncertainty and altered schedules due to the coronavirus pandemic. Given the governor’s announcement and new guidelines from the CDC, we will pause our public operations through the end of March.
We’re working hard to serve and carry out our mission during these unprecedented and scary times. We don’t yet know the total impact of the pandemic, but we’ve all seen stories about how it will affect people with no access to healthcare, no paid medical leave, and no financial cushion for unexpected layoffs or expenses. During this time, our top priority will be supporting the health and financial security of our employees, the people on the front line of changing lives every day, by ensuring they continue receiving consistent paychecks. We are determined to weather this storm. We are preparing for and anticipating an even greater need for our services in the coming weeks and months, as families in our community are affected by the economic impact of this crisis.
Your support means everything to us. Stay tuned to our email and social media channels in the coming weeks for Barnabas news, and, above all, take care of yourselves.
