The Barnabas Network has been housed in two different locations. Generous supporters have provided these great facilities, but every move has been a disruption to our clients. We finally have a home of our own thanks to the generous donation of our permanent warehouse by two donors who wish to remain anonymous, located at 838 Winston Street in Greensboro, NC. This move has allowed us to expand and will enable us to serve more people.
Through the collaborative efforts of donors and supporters, we've achieved our goal of transforming this building into a pivotal point for persons transitioning from hardship to recovery and stability. This great feat wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of those who contributed to our first-ever capital campaign. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff, and Volunteers of the Barnabas Network, thank you!
STABILITY. Our permanent home eliminates the focus on finding a new location as needed every few years.
TANGIBLE ASSETS. We now have a tangible asset that we can leverage as we grow.
BRANDING. Permanency will increase public awareness of both the furniture bank and the retail store.
FLEXIBILITY. Owning our own space will allow us to adapt to our needs as they grow and change.
How You Can Help
Now that our building is up and running, we still need your continued support and help through furniture donations, monetary gifts, and volunteer opportunities. Please contact us and let us know how you'd like to assist us as we continue to recycle furniture and restore the lives of the individuals we serve. Just double click on the red link below entitled "I want to get involved with The Barnabas Network".
"We support The Barnabas Network, as it provides hope to those who have struggled and are working toward a better life & stable home for themselves & their families. In the same way, this capital campaign will provide a stable home for The Barnabas Network so that it can thrive & grow. We're excited about the future of this important organization."
